We are delighted to share an original piece that brings together Music & Art, developed by Rachael Diop & Jayne Seddon, in collaboration with the children in Y3 & Y4 at LIPA Primary school. The piece debuted at LightNight Liverpool on Friday 21st May 2021.
The piece, entitled ‘Sky Shanty’, inspired by the popular ‘Sea Shanties’, describes the beautiful bird types & flight patterns found close to our Liverpool homes. The final piece can be viewed below:
In addition to the main performance, we’ve also put together a montage of our wider community & families who have crafted their birds and hung them on trees in their local communities.
