Jamie Turner is a Lancashire-born record producer, artist manager and Managing Director of Actual Music Ltd. A lifelong musician, he went on to study at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA).

After graduating, Jamie co-founded Love Music Education and became resident at LIPA Primary School, helping shape its in-class and extracurricular music programme. In 2020, he co-founded SoMi Academy CIC with Joe Wilson and Ramena Farahi, and now oversees all day-to-day operations. Under his leadership, SoMi Academy delivers the full music and performing arts provision for LIPA Primary & High School.

Jamie also guest lectures at LIPA and the Royal Northern College of Music, and featured on LIPA’s graduate panel masterclass in 2018.
